Day 1: Cusco - Saywite - Villa Los Loros Lodge

The travelers are picked up at their hotel and depart from Cusco at 7:00 am by private bus, with the Saywite Archaeological Park as the first destination. There you will observe the mysterious monolith and the nearby archaeological remains; the "ushnu" and the "phaqchas" staggered should remain in the memory in order to contrast their correspondence with the ceremonial architecture of Choquequirao. After a repairing box-lunch, the trip continues descending through the remote valley of Huanipaca; one of those places of the Peruvian mountains reserved for travelers. Villa Los Loros lodge awaits us at the bottom of the deep valley. The rooms ready and after a necessary relax, a small meeting in which to dispel the anxiety that a trip like this provokes in every traveler. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Villa Los Loros Lodge (2,260 msnm) - Choquequirao (3,050 msnm)

After breakfast we leave at 5:30 am, going down a pedestrian path that enters the old Hacienda San Ignacio and then plummets downhill towards the torrential Apurímac River (Playa San Ignacio). We crossed the suspension bridge ... here begins the serious thing; The ascent from the water level (at 1,450 masl) to the Choquequirao camp (2,870 masl) is nothing less than overwhelming. On the one hand, the beauty of the landscape, rivers, waterfalls, lilac flowers, everything is movement ... On the other, the wildness of the environment; the steep slope and the beating of the heart combine in a personal connection of the traveler with his surroundings and with himself. In the camp and after lunch, Phaqchayoc awaits us (the system of terraces or "pantry" where corn is grown) and La Casa de la Caída de Agua (according to scholars, the home of the Inca of Choquequirao). Returned to the camp, tired, dinner will be served and night will be spent. (Bathroom and cold shower available). (Trekking 17 Kms)

Day 3: Choquequirao (3.050 msnm) - PinchaUnuyoc (2.487 msnm)

Today we will visit the best sectors of the Archaeological Park of Choquequirao. Lunch will be taken near the Conjunto, so as not to interrupt the visit and see, with a bit of luck, the flight of the majestic Andean Condor over the deep canyon of the Apurimac River. In the afternoon we began the ascent from the citadel, crossing the tall forests rich in epiphytes, bromeliads and beautiful orchids, until surrounding the Choquequirao Pass at 3,270 m.s.n.m. and start a descent along the slopes of the west side of the mountain until you reach Pincha Unuyoc. There we will set up the camp. (Trekking 8.5 Kms)

Day 4: PinchaUnuyoc (2.487 msnm) - Maizal (2.892 msnm)

We will visit the archaeological site of PinchaUnuyoc, a range of cultivation platforms crowned by a small ceremonial site and then continue the descent to the warm ravine of the Blanco River or Yuraqmayu (1.875m.s.n.m.), where we will consume lunch. Then we started the ascent of the Qorihuayrachina mountain until we reach Maizal, a natural balcony with an impressive view. There we will set up the camp. Dinner and overnight. (Trekking 9.5 Kms)

Day 5: Maizal (2,892 msnm) - Yanama (3,520 msnm)

Climbing through a varied forest and passing through the old Victoria Mines (silver), we reach the San Juan Pass (4,200m.s.), where we will enjoy extraordinary views of the Vilcabamba Mountain Range. Following the path in full slope of the cliffs, we will reach the small community of Yanama. (Trekking Km. 12,500)

Day 6: Yanama - Santa Teresa - MAPI Pueblo

Today we will not walk and we will take a private mobility that takes us to Santa Teresa, where we can rest a little in the Cocalmayo spa. After lunch we move to the station of the hydroelectric plant, from where the train will take us to Machu Picchu Pueblo in 15 minutes. Here we can rest in the hotel or enjoy the thermal baths of Aguas Calientes.

Day 7: Machu Picchu - Cusco

We leave early to catch the first bus that will leave us in the same Inca Sanctuary, located on the Urubamba River Canyon, in the heart of the jungle-covered mountain range of Salkantay, wonder of the world we will visit, having the opportunity to visit optional to the imposing mountain of Wayna Picchu or the door of the sun (IntiPunku). Returning to Machu Picchu town, we will consume a buffet lunch in a tourist restaurant and then we will take the train back to Cusco. Transfer to the hotel.
