It is located approximately one mile of Tambo de Mora and 16,000 meters from the sea. This is about 450 meters from Cumbe and almost 990 meters northwest of the Huanca of Tambo de Mora, in the district of ChinchaBaja (low), in the Chincha province, to 100 km from the South Panamericana Highway, in the Ica department. The Huacaâ€œLa Centinelaâ€ is also known as the "Citadel of Chinchacama" it was built in the period known as late intermediate (1100-1350 A.D.).ITINERARY

San JosÃ©â€™s Farm: The ranch house remains the warm and traditional style of the old farms of the south coast. Its main attractions are baroque altar of the chapel and underground gallery which slaves led blindfolded to prevent their escape. (Entrance ticket included). Carmen District: This site was created to accommodate the former slaves and their descendants. The slaves came from as far as Senegal, Guinea, Congo and Angola. They were taken to the Peruvian coast during the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries, to replace the manpower needs of the San Jose and San Regisestates. They were dedicated to the cultivation of cotton, sugar cane and vines.
Huaca La Centinela: This archaeological site is attributed to the ancient chinchanos (1200 D.C.-1450 D.C.), which had been built before it was conquered by the Incas; they modified the structure incorporating some elements of Inca architecture.
